Calling all cubs (and their parents, too)! π» Join us at the Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre for a FREE drop-in play session in our Discovery Zone every Wednesday and Friday morning. Settle in for open-ended free play or explore one of our self-directed crafts, thoughtfully prepared for each session.

CSI: Curious Science Investigators
πΏ Ages 6-12
π Thursday afternoons 3:15 - 5 pm
π° $14 for members/$16 for non-members (10x punch pass available)
Step into the role of a young detective-scientist with CSI: Curious Science Investigators at the Rossland Museum! π¬π΅οΈββοΈ Rooted in the natural sciences, each weekly session becomes a hands-on mission inspired by our local environment. Working as a team, investigators use observation, logical reasoning, and scientific inquiry to follow clues and solve a central mystery. π²π
Join us Thursday afternoons as we crack natureβs case files, tackle curious problems, and uncover the secrets of the world around us β one clue at a time! π

Homeschoolers Explore! is back by popular demand! π Designed for local homeschoolers, this program offers an engaging, collaborative learning environment where children explore natural sciences, local history, art, and more alongside their peers. π«ΆπποΈ
Select sessions incorporate museum collections and artifacts, bringing learning to life and sparking curiosity. If youβre a parent or homeschooler looking for an enriching, hands-on educational experience, weβd love to welcome you! π

Weekly All-Ages activities on Saturday and Sunday mornings - everyone welcome! Free for members and included in regular admission for non-members

S.T.E.A.M. Days is our all-ages, drop-in program offering hands-on activities inspired by Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. π§ͺπ¬π¨ Through engaging experiments, creative challenges, crafts, and games, participants explore big ideas in fun and accessible ways. With something new every week, itβs a perfect way to spend a weekend morning at the Museum. π
